Industrial painting

Verniciatura industriale

At TecnoSteel, we offer a wide range of paints for industrial processes while also providing a thermosetting painting service carried out by our technicians. Industrial paint is useful for two main purposes: on the one hand for aesthetics, because it makes the products beautiful to look at; on the other hand it protects them from external agents, both physical and chemical, increasing their durability over time.

Our industrial painting service in Striano can be carried out on various types of metal material including: iron, aluminium and cast iron.

In order to carry out this procedure in the best possible way, the paint for industrial processes must be handled with special equipment that we have at TecnoSteel for our clients.

Techniques

Depending on the type of object and the type of industrial processing paint you decide to use, there are different painting techniques that can be adopted.

Our experienced technicians will be able to help you choose the right one for your object and explain the different characteristics.

In the following paragraphs, you can find out more about the techniques we use at TecnoSteel in Striano.

Industrial thermosetting powder coating

In order to protect metals from aggressive weather and chemical influences, we recommend the application of a thermosetting powder coating. This industrial powder coating is applied using synthetic resin-based powders that are bound to the metal part by an electrostatic process.

To solidify, it is then exposed to high temperatures in specialised ovens.

The end result is a compact, homogeneous layer that is chemically and physically resistant. Our specialised machinery is able to apply this paint to products of all thicknesses and sizes.

Industrial liquid painting

We also offer liquid-applied industrial processing paint. This process allows us to use various types of dyes, from epoxy to water-based. Liquid application is carried out by atomising the paint with a jet of air through specialised airbrushes used by hand or by industrial robots.

This process is also suitable for use on plastic. The main strength is the final aesthetic appearance; thanks to this technique you can achieve different tactile and visual finishes and have access to a wide range of possible colours.

Industrial immersion painting

By using the dip coating method of industrial painting, great uniformity of application can be achieved. For this reason, the technique is widely used as it saves precious time and wastes less paint. At TecnoSteel, we have automated dip-coating systems available that allow us to paint a large quantity of parts uniformly.

Once all the articles have been placed on the hooks of the overhead conveyor, the machine proceeds independently, immersing the pieces one by one in the varnish tank for industrial processes.

After being painted, the products are passed through a ventilated oven that dries the paint quickly.

Immersion varnishing cannot be finished in detail like other types of varnishing, but because of its speed and uniformity it is used on parts that are not visible or on those products for which aesthetics are not fundamental, such as agricultural or industrial machinery.
